The Day We Met

Hulk & Baby met one year ago, today.

Baby was dressed up as a teacher. Hulk was dressed up as a coffee-swillin' student.

At the end of class, Hulk tried to talk to Baby. She looked at her shoes.

Today, Hulk&Baby got up early. Hulk picked up Baby in the Big Blue Box (TM), and they went back to school. Together.

They even went to the room they met in. The room hasn't changed. Hulk&Baby haven't changed. Only now, they're in love.

So today we encourage you to return to important meeting places; places of chance encounters, places where you have met people you felt a zing in your heart about, but didn't respond to at the time. You never know: a non-descript classroom with brown chalkboards and fluorescent lighting just might turn out to be the birthplace of your favorite memories, and the finding-spot of your favorite person.

Ah, places!

For many years, Cap'n and Hulk's mom, The Black-and-White-Indian (TM?), told stories of The Barn where they met. Eventually, Hulk's brother decided to check their story and found the very spot. It involved a big fieldstone fireplace (unusual barn),

Cap'n just had a frustrating evening musicianing for the Unlikely Impresario (definite TM).

It is nice to be reminded of special places, especially during trying moments that don't matter very much.

There are always special places. It is important that we remember. Remembering gives them life. They, in turn, give us life. Just so.
